Honey...where's our room?

Here's a story for you guys from the first time Anthony and I went to Disney. :)

We stayed at the yacht club resort. Big fancy name, but that was just the theme. It was beautiful, might I add. And huge. The resort had three floors and a humongus pool outside in which my niece, Cassie, had a blast playing in.
Our room was on the second floor. It had a balcony that overlooked the pool. It was beautiful.
So on our last day there, my husband was exausted. He decided to stay behind and relax in the room while I took Cassie to Blizzard Beach. (My brother and his wife werre having some fun at Paradise Island the night before, so they were dead to the world.)
Anthony said good-bye to Cassie and I after a nice breakfast.
Anthony went to the last hallway (we were really far from the desk) and slid his "key" in the door.
Nothing happened.
He did it again.
Again, nothing.
Now, Anthony had this problem once before and he was angry. He stormed all the way to the desk and stopped when he realized something.
He didn't go down any stairs.
And he didn't take an elevator.
Anthony was on the wrong floor. The poor guy at the desk looked terrified because it looked like Anthony was about to rip his head off. Anthony just turned red and said:
"I like your tie."
And turned away.

"I thought a cherib was a name for a baby cherry?"

Today is my favorite quotes day! The day I post my favorite quotes from people I love. :) And yes, I will include stories.

1) "I thought a cherub was a name for a baby cherry?" - Mimi Gonzales

Mimi is one of my best friends. In my English class my second year of college, someone said we were cute like little cherubs. Well, Mimi didn't understand a cherub was a winged baby who shoots arrows into people, so she immediately made the assumption it was a baby cherry.

2) "Ella! That guy is going to fall out of his truck!" -My brother Jeremy

We were driving in Virginia and a truck came in front of us on the highway. It had this huge picture of a man passing out boxes on it, making it look like the inside of a truck as well. My brother thought it actually was a man tossing out boxes to the freeway. :)

3) Throwing chairs, though fun, is frowned upon in most societies. -My high school quote.

Ok here's the story. I was in select chorus and it was my sophomore year. My chorus director was a funny guy, but he was passionate about music. One day, we just were having a really hard time coming on on a down beat and he was starting to get mad. When he got mad, he was really mad. Well we went to go in again and we were doing great then he did the beat wrong. He got so mad he took a chair and tossed it over. (it was just a little aluminum chair.) He yelled "IT WAS MEEEEEEE!" Lol it became a funny story after that. :)

4) Titanic. I love that movie to death!
5) My hands. I have really small hands. Not stubby, just small. Kind of odd.

What are YOUR answeres?

Recipe for a Good Book

1 part crazy author
2 pints insomnia
1 dash sleepless dreams
3 cups creativity
1 heaping spoonful of determination
2 tbs procrastination
8 1/2 cups imagination
1 oz of something else with "ation" in it
3 3/4 cups of love
2 little squishy bundles of joy
1 joy to be (joylet?)
1 supporting husband

Mix well with insanity for best results. :)

I had a stroke of genius last night. It came to me in a dream. It was the perfect idea for my book!
The idea was a character. He came compleat with a name, past, and features.
His name was Krusev. Odd, i know, but it fits so well with what I'm writing! I don't want to divulge too much in the nitty gritty details because although I love a lot of the people on here, there are stealers. But I'm telling you. It's fantastic!

Well who asked you anyways?!

CREEPER ALERT!!!

There is a new guy living across the street from me. He moved in two years ago but I never really had the time to say hello.

While I was walking Liam and Collin around the neighborhood yesterday, he was outside on his porch. We walked around a few times and he just sat there, watching us. I got the heebiejeebies. If some weirdo was watching you walk your kids, I think you would too.

Finally, he got up and started walking towards us. I didn't want to be rude, so I stopped. Maybe he wasn't a creeper.

Well he was.

He came over and started commenting on my outfit and then started asking me about how often I did IT with my husband. Icky creeper!

I was so grossed out and I yelled at him and walked (OK I ran) back to my house. Thank god he he's moving again. The sooner, the better.

Are you ready for this?!

I don't think you are! Cuz I sure as hell am not!

I got some news today. I had recently been to the doctors because I had broke my arm. Well, while I was there I told them I've been feeling kinda funky.

Went home to see my lovlie baby boys and my lovlie grown-up husband playing peek-a-boo on the floor. Really cute right?

My boys are almost 5 months old now (the 17th!) and I am just finally getting into the swing of things when something strikes me. I was very curious so I decided to see if my hypothesis was correct.

And it is.

I'M PREGNATE AGAIN!!!!!!!

I was scared because of my recent fall, so I went to the docs and they gave me the a-ok so I'm all good. But pregnate again?! Lord have mercy on my soul.

Never shout your epiphanies in public

Here's a story from when I was younger:

My family and I liked to go camping a lot. One year when I was fourteen, we went to Maryland. Rural Maryland. I mean like the next house over is a mile down the road. Well, we arrived at our campsite late and wanted dinner so we went to a little diner conveniently placed fourteen miles down the street. I suppose it was crab night that night because everyone was crack crack cracking their crab legs. My dad had ordered a BLT. My brother had asked what it was.
Dad said: "Bacon, lettuce, and tomato."
So the night went on and about five minutes after the BLT thing, I slammed my hands down on the table and yelled quite loudly "I GET IT!!!" Well, everyone in the diner looked at me to see what I had gotten.
"BLT! Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato!"
Lets just say I was quite embarrassed. :)

Don't you love being clumsy?

So I have a reason why my post is so late today. This morning I fell down the stairs.
(Well, up the stairs to be exact. I was going up. Slid down. Whatever works.)
Went to the hospital because when I fell I heard a distict crunch.

I BROKE MY ARM!!!!!!

Now it's in a sling and it hurts. And my arm is itchy. Owwie.

Boys will be boys

Just a real quick thing that someone elses blog reminded me of.

A few days ago, I woke up and went to check on my little boys and Liam had his thumb in Collins mouth. Collin's was in Liams. Talk about close brothers!

Alright, who took my M&M's?

That's what my niece asked me when she came home from school yesterday. (She and my brother live across the street from me and she comes to my house in the afternoons.)
"Who took my M&M's?" She asked again. Cassie gets pink when she's angry. She was full on red as a tomato.
"Aunt Ella, where are my M&M's?"
"Did you check your backpack?" (This is me)
"They're not there. Who took my M&M's?!"
"What's going on beanie?" (This is Anthony. He calls Cassie Beanie because she loves beanie babies.)
"Someone took my M&M's."
"Did you check your backpack?"
"Yes!"
"Ahh!" (This is Collin on his little blanket on the floor where he and Liam play.)
"I want my M&M's!" Cassie whined.
"Ahhh!" (Collin again.)
"Found em." (Anthony)
At that point, Anthony had held up a little mini packet of M&M's that had Collin drool all over them.
Needless to say, Cassie didn't have M&M's yesterday. :)

What was supposed to be sunday's post

FIVE QUESTIONS I FELT LIKE ASKING:

1) What is your favorite ice cream?
2) If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
3) What is your favorite type of music?
4) Paper or plastic?
5) How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

MY ANSWERS:

1) Mint chocolate chip. Yum!
2) Unique. I am an individual and love every minute of it. :)
3) I love orchestra music and Irish music as well. I am half Irish and am darn proud of it!
4) Paper. I am a go green mommy!
5) I have no clue.

A memory

There used to be a house across the street from me when I was little. It was old; perhaps made in the 1600's or so. I never found out really. It had huge white columns and ivy that crept up the sides and claimed the left half of the porch. It was vacant, by my friends and I used to pretend we lived there as lords and ladies. Our neighbors didn't mind even though technically we were trespassing. I always wanted to see the inside of that house. I wanted to find old things, like chests of old cloths and mysterious items like they did in the movies.
They tore down that house about three years ago. I miss it sometimes.

My little comedian

My husband hates diapers. Doesn't everyone? So he was changing Liam and just as he put the baby powder on his bottom, Liam let one loose and a little puff of baby powder went into Anthony's face! Liam just smiled and laughed. It looks like I have a little jokester on my hands!

Music...the love of my life.

I love music. I have a theory I want to run by all of you.
I believe music and god have the same personality. Music will always be there and is always something you can count on. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you feel like you're on top of the world. But above all, music is always present. Ever "come up" with a song in your head or get a song stuck in your head? It is ever present. I love music...

Oh boy

So i love people. I always have. I suppose I'm a bit of a social butterfly. But here's the catch. Boys don't like me. I wasn't asked out until college. My first kiss was in a production of "110 In The Shade." Weird huh? I've always been described as adorable, but have had self esteem issues since the 6th grade. Maybe it's because I never liked myself that no one ever liked me? Hmm...
Anyway, about four months ago I gave birth twins! Little Liam and Collin are my little jewles in life. My husband Anthony and I are so proud of those little buggers. :)

Oh, the Glories of Writing. And oooh the hand cramps.

It turns out I do like to blog, but no one reads them. How sad. Huh. I suppose I'm just a fan of writing. The issue? Hand cramps. Constantly. Ouch.

Is there a title for something like this? Hm. Nope, can't think of any.

wow I'm so new to this. I've always wanted to blog, but have never been able to. To busy with writing and singing i suppose. Huh. I'm a new writer; fresh meat in the business is what I've been called, but I've been writing since the fourth grade. Stories, I mean. My first was children's stories. My aunt had a daycare and one of the kids kept putting toys in his mouth, so I wrote a story for him. Of course, I won't divulge in details because, though I'm new, I'm not stupid. I don't want anyone taking my ideas. : ) I've always done well in English and talked (or rather, wrote) like I was years older than I was. I tended to use large words in my fourth grade essays. I remember using the word "fickle" in a sentence and my teacher looked at me like I had a second head growing out of my ear.
I've always found it amusing when older people hear me speak when they have never talked to me before. Because I look so much younger than I am (in high school was constantly mistaken for a seventh grader) they automatically label me as "immature." Though this was, at the time, true with my friends, I always talked eloquently when with adults. It sounds egotistic, but that's how I was described. Eloquent, yet a terrible speller. Is it strange that a person who is addicted to spell check wants to write for a living? Hm. Questions questions.
I wrote a book. It's not edited and certaily not published, but nontheless, it is in fact a book. 310 pages. It took me just under a year. I'm quite proud of it, but am unsure what to do now. I want to get it edited, but can't afford it. To many payments and such. Oh, recession.
So, do people post comments like on facebook or something? Or is this more along the lines of a diary for people who (ahem) have particulary bad handwriting? (The only thing people do better than anyone else is read their own handwriting.) Hm. More questions.
